Many Divisions in Vietnam published newspapers to keep their troops informed about unit activities. The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (11th ACR), nicknamed the “Blackhorse Regiment”, was a U.S. Army armored cavalry unit that served in Vietnam from September 1966 to 1972. It was assigned to the 25th Infantry Division for most of its combat tour, operating as a mobile, armored strike force within the division’s combat team.

Special Thanks to: Don Snedeker, Historian, 11th Armored Cavalry Veterans of Vietnam and Cambodia. He emailed me JPEG images of many issues of this newspaper, and I assembled them into these PDFs to share.

I served with the 101st Admin Company at Bien Hoa Army Base from Jun 68 to Aug 69 in the AG Section.
