try self publishing on Amazon. make certain it is well edited before doing so.
– As a Vietnam veteran with two close friends, both whom are members of my church, who each spent more than five years at the Hanoi Hilton, I take umbrage with the short shrift taken with the contribution of Carole Hickerson and her husband, Commander James M. (Jim) Hickerson with the creation of the POW/MIA flag.
Although Carole did not physically make the flag, she did design the image. Please google them both.
BTW, Carole Hickerson was also instrumental in starting the POW/MIA bracelet program.
Maybe you can include their painful, heroic, patriotic and, eventually, gloriously romantic story in your writing. Maybe even while they’re still alive. Semper Fi! 🌴
