It is the
VETERAN,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.
It is
the VETERAN,
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the VETERAN,
not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It is
the VETERAN,
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is
the VETERAN, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is
the VETERAN,
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.
It is the
VETERAN who
salutes the Flag,

ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM.
I’ll be EXTREMELY proud if this reaches as many as possible.
We can be very proud of our young men and women in the service no matter where
they serve.
God,
Bless them all!!!

I remember Quang Tri, I remember TET, I remember Khe Sanh, Con Tien, Dong Ha, LZ Stud and The Rockpile. I remember and still see and smell the smoke and Incoming, the blood and agony suffered by the best men and women God had put legs on! I remember some of those legs missing and young eyes that will see home no more. I remember heart-ache and crying to the beat of CH46 rotors as we covered the sky’s , sobbing to God to please bring us ALL home safe and sound. I was 18 and I saw things that no man, let alone, the best youth America had to offer should ever see or smell or hear. I remember coming home in body, but my spirit is forever doomed to roam those skies with the heros that I was lucky enough to have served with and those Heaven called me to serve. Yes, I remember and again I cry, for all my days I will be in Northern I Corps until God releases me from these memories. Semper Fi Yes I REMEMBER
