How would I get a list of those 34 members of the religious denomination known as the Disciples of Christ that were killed in VN? Is there some way to know the total number of DoC that listed this particular denomination as their denominational preference? Thank you.

This information is great.
One correction to the table below:
American Casualties by State and Protectorate:
Age at Time of Death Recorded Casualties
Alabama 1,207
The second line should read: “State of Record”.
Keep up the great work.

Mike Kujawa:
This is not a list that I have access to. However, I did use the KIA numbers by state and divided them by the average population between 1960 and 1970. Here’s what I found out in checking six different states:
Montana – 267 vs.680,000 = .0039%
Alabama – 1208 vs. 3,250,000 = .0037%
Florida – 1954 vs. 5,870,000 = .0033%
California – 5,573 vs 17,500,000 = .0032%
New York – 4,121 vs 18,500,000 = .0022%
Michigan – 2,654 vs 8,500,000 = .0031%

There were 16 casualties in 61 and 52 in 62 the best way to find details you want is to go to www,vvmf.org click search the wall enter the year 1961 and it will give you links to the details of the 16 from 61. Then go back and do the same for 1962.

How do I get a list of all names and dates of death for those who died (KIA) in country during 1961 and 1962? I have 17 names for 1962 since they were my brothers-in-arms while serving together in MAAG. They were from all service branches and I knew them. We were a small group at MAAG, but very proud of what we did. I will never forget them. A day doesn’t go by that I say a prayer for them, and salute the American flag I have flying in my front yard. It is my tribute to a very special band of brothers. Thank you.

I would like to see a similair list about those who came home and later died from causes generated in Viet Nam. A Nam Vet in D.C., Jan Scruggs started a organization called Viet Nam Veterans Memorial Fund. The purpose of this organization is to honor the Veterans who came home and died because they had served in Viet Nam.
