I’ve collected five Informational videos about the war in Vietnam. Grab a coffee, sit back, and take a chance to discover something you might not have known about those fighting 10,000 miles away in Vietnam, The Republic of.
This video talks about three different jungle wars…Vietnam is only the first portion. You can choose to stop watching afterward.

I watched your videos there was not much on the subject of tunnel rats tet offensive etc mostly liberal talking points. Agent orange more to do about effect on vietnam than on the US forces. I expected better instead of rehash news clips and sound bites. Poorly put together clipsw on soldiers in uniforms not used in vn, glad i watched it before i recommended i this propaganda to anyone. seems to me napalm girl was hit by south viet nam napalm. truly disappointed

Touring Vietnam this Spring, God willing, with my foster son who was one of The Boat People back in 1980-81. Will pass on videos, based on lurid artwork.

My parents are touring Vietnam right now. He tried to enlist twice during those times, but they denied him both times. Now, we are all grateful that he was denied.

When anything similar to this is put out to the public, the biggest audience will be veterans. Given that, the announcer should certainly be able to pronounce city and town names PROPERLY! I refer to the ancient city of Hue (Way) NOT Hugh.

I was in Vietnam two years. After 2,000 I purchased two books, the 1987 Pulitzer prize on Vietnam, a Bright Shining Lie by Neil Sheehan and Secrets by Daniel Ellsberg, a marine who worked in the cable room of the Pentagon, the first 12 pages were shocking as well. I lost two dear friends while we were there and I couldn’t finish either book, I was crying too hard. It seems Ho chi Minh was a student in NY and Boston and years later he contacted Truman to help him get the French out of Vietnam. He sent 300 “advisers” and JFK had 7,000 he was trying to bring home when the French left in 1953. LBJ bombed the north repeatedly only to find out the original cable were in error, they were not torpedoing our ships, no bodies or debris was ever found. the last cable attributes the sounds to a faulty sonar. That is the story but no movie will ever be told.
