This is a great video of our military men who were held in North Vietnam prisons.
I had never seen this before and I had no idea how these guys felt all these years about President Nixon. The 40th reunion actually occurred in 2013, but seeing it for the first time or even once more may bring tears to your eyes. This video is only 12 minutes long…please take the time to watch this. The POW experience & Nixon’s role in bringing them home was outstanding bravery. Every Vietnam Vet should honor Nixon for ordering Linebacker I and Linebacker II that finally made them rel lease the POW’s.
The air crews that revolted on Guam were right. The stupidity of our USAF generals in not changing the attack pattern was criminal. The generals should have been court martialed for incompetence.

My friend William A. Robinson was the longest enlisted man held as a POW from 20th September 1965 to 12th February 1973, a total of 2,703 days. His life as a POW is told in his book with the title The Longest Rescue. I wish they would have said something about him.

I was never a fan of President Nixon but I am now , what a great thing to do ! God bless these men and President Nixion! I am a Vietnam veteran and I think it is an insult to all of us Vietnam Veterans to make Vietnam one of our favorite Trading partners also letting Jane Fonda live in this country after what she did is a slap in the face to all Vietnam Veterans!

Wonderful! My eyes are full of tears. I served 2 tours in Vietnam, 67 -69. This video made me so proud to be a Veteran. My dad served in WW2 and both my brothers served during the Vietnam conflict. Now my youngest daughter serves in the USAF as a Tech Sergeant assigned to the NSA. We are proud Americans!

The video honors those held in captivity by the NVA,brutally tortured by their captors.What is omitted is those POW’s in Laos,who Nixon conveniently erased from history,never seeking their release from the Pathet Lao and Laotian government.Only God knows what happened to them,as they were more than likely summarily executed by their captors.Nixon never did attempt to seek their release either from Laos,or Cambodia,after the war had ended,and a peace settlement was signed.

The war would have been over four years earlier if it wasn’t for Tricky Dicky to stop the peace talks in France to keep it going until a Republican him got elected.

As a Vietnam vet and the Son of a Korean War MIA, Unsan NK, I’m very glad to have watched this video. I’m sad for my father and the hundreds of MIA from both wars who never made it back, even to this day.

jerry warren powers usmc 72-73 dad said i was sent 12 different states/ spent 3 months not knowing . i was locked up and in different places. served in cuba and camp lejune, had to go to doctors phyical and mebtal, johnson city tenn. live in nc. believe i paid for my disablydont knoe but i was in hosipals back then, have memorys of bad thing happen to me, did get saved that day i ca me home june 20 1973 retired. honorabley mentioned. honorsble

A very heart moving video. Those men suffered more than we can comprehend. I have the book, Seven Years in Hanoi by Larry Chesley. I was fortunate enough to meet him and have him autograph the book. “GBU.” God Bless You. These were men with a spirit that could not be stopped.
