I think you guys could be right, I was crew chief with the Thunderbird from dec 1965 to Dec 15 1967, I crewed T bird #8 and Tbird #9, and for the most part the nose artis correct for A co 101 Avn
I was a Crew Chief in the 118th from Aug. 1st. 67 to Aug 1st 68. I never saw anything on the nose of a helicopter being Slick or Gunship that was not just the white bird. This picture dicussets me! I have pictures on the 118th web page to varify I was there!

Yeah that nose art is bogus I think it belongs to the 101st ABN I was a crew chief 1st platoon 5/68 to 11/68 thunderbird 1-5
